Sanibel Island Anniversary session

One Year Anniversary shoot

This beautiful couple were set to be married on Sanibel Island one day before hurricane Ian came through. They quickly had to change plans and have the ceremony back home in Illinois to ensure their special wedding date of September 30th remained the special day. Sanibel Island is a special place for this couple and so they decided to celebrate their one year anniversary with a photo shoot down on the beach where they had originally planned to be married.

I love working with engaged couples and newlyweds. It's such an exciting time in life when things are so new and their lives together are just getting started. This session was especially meaningful with all that they had been through. Im so glad they decided to come back to their special place and I love how the sunset gave us all the pretty colors during this session!
